I love this ankara dress on Boris Kodjoe’s wife…Nicole, it makes me want Summer to hurry up and get here already! The weather in the UK can be so depressing. For those of you that don’t know what ankara is, its a fabric that men and women in Africa use to make their clothes, into a variety of styles. It became a new fashion craze towards the end of last year over here in the UK when Asos.com brought out their African inspired collection selling clothes from designers such as NKWO but its been around for a while.

NEW OBSESSION: Denmark beauty, Oh land…real nameNanna Øland Fabricius. I stumbled across her on YouTube about 2 weeks ago now and I just cant seem to stop playing “Wolf & I”. If I am a little late, dont hesitate to send me a relpy but just thought those who hadnt heard of her might like to have a listen. She reminds me of a more soft, delicate Robyn with a sound that crosses over between electropop, dance and alternative. Her voice is incredibly soothing and the production of most of her songs are quite robotic in some elements. I can’t explain it but the blend just works perfectly. This is her singing live. Enjoy.
